I had to get some flowers to fill a new vase I received for Christmas. Love the orange - so cheery! I can't believe I'm almost done with this blog project. What a year it's been!
Brian's folks go to GREAT lengths to make the holiday season a fun time for the family. Today we celebrated Christmas with Brian's folks and siblings, nieces and nephews.
I've been baking a ridiculous amount of cookies for the past month. I've lost track of how many dozens I've baked...definitely over 250 cookies! I've got them all boxed up now to give.
One of my favorite holiday activities is to go to historic downtown St. Charles for the festivities. Tonight Brian and I had dinner at Trailhead Brewery and then walked through the little shops and enjoyed the characters walking around and carolers.
I stayed quite awhile after work today to get some things done. Including covering one of the huge bulletin boards I just got installed. It was a chore... ugh
We went into Columbia for the day today. Grandpa George has moved to a nursing home facility. A friend helped move his chair from home today. The friend had a neat cart he used to move it. In this picture he is explaining how it works. I'm glad Grandpa has his special chair. I was also happy to be able to visit with him.
